Spring 2024 Board Notes

Dear Neighbors,

As the spring season unfolds and our community thrives, our HOA is also in a moment of transition. Last evening, the HOA Board held a special meeting to elect new officers. Before I announce the officers, and on behalf of the Board and the entire HOA, I do want to thank Steve Maciosek for his dedicated service to the HOA as President.  We are truly grateful for Steve’s commitment to the neighborhood and his efforts in serving as President.  Steve remains on the Board and we look forward to our continued work for as long as he will serve.

Brendan Roath was nominated, and graciously accepted, to continue on as Treasurer.  I was nominated, and accepted, the role as President. The Board is leaving the positions of Vice President and Secretary unfulfilled at this time, but we will be appointing those positions soon.

With these changes comes a renewed focus on enhancing communication and engagement within the neighborhood.  In the coming months, you can expect aimed at improving the flow of information and transparency. We are committed to working together to make our community the best it can be.

Stayed tuned for updates on upcoming meetings, events and initiatives.  Your input and participation are invaluable as we strive to create a neighborhood that we are all proud to call home.

Once again, we extend our sincerest thanks to Steve for his serrvice.  The HOA email is saunderslakesouthhoa@gmail.com and I will be checking it regularly.

Thank you.

Justin Weinberg

Mailbox Update! (July 22, 2020)

Outdoor Designs has asked the South Saunders H.O.A. Board to share the following message with South Saunders residents.

A Gopher One call has been ordered for marking a small 5 foot radius of each mailbox stand for utilities underground.

This will probably take at least 3 days for them to do all the stands.

Please ask residents to leave flags and markings in “tact” until we have installed the new stands. Otherwise we will need to do new locates and that will slow us down an additional 3 days.

The mailboxes themselves are on their way to us via Yellow Freight and should arrive this week. We are prepared to start installing after the area is “marked” for utilities, and the mailboxes are “lettered” and assembled.

We will be doing the install over two, possibly three days, depending on the weather.

We will keep you posted.

Sincerely,

Outdoor Designs
